Arc Flash Analysis
Arc Flash is an electrical explosion in an electrical system resulting from a low alternating current resistor connection or a different voltage phase.
High temperatures will cause rapid heating of the surrounding air and excessive pressures, which will cause an arc explosion.
Risks associated with arc flash include burns and injuries due to heat, flying objects and pressure explosions.
Arc Flash accidents could be prevented substantially by related engineering facilities , appropriate training, planning, work preparation, procedures and related personel protective equipment.
